In partnership with Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) and the Global Education Movement (GEM), Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS) Kenya is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the 2026 SNHU Scholarship Program. This opportunity supports motivated and high‑potential learners to pursue accredited U.S. undergraduate degrees through a flexible online learning model complemented by comprehensive local support.

UNIV’R 2026 – Second Call for Applications Now Open

UNHCR and its partners are pleased to announce that the second call for applications for the UNIV’R Programme 2026 is now open. Refugee students residing in their first country of asylum and wishing to pursue a two‑year Master’s degree in France are invited to apply.

UNICORE 2026 – Call for Applications

Refugee students have the opportunity to pursue a Master’s degree in Italy through the University Corridors for Refugees (UNICORE) programme.

Applications open: 2 March 2026
Deadline: 17 April 2026

Who Can Apply

You may apply if you:

  • Hold recognized refugee status
  • Have a university degree earned in or after 2021 (and no later than 17 April 2026)
  • Have a GPA of at least 3.0 (or equivalent)

What the Scholarship Offers

  • Full tuition waiver
  • Financial support for living expenses
  • Additional study grant in Italy

How to Apply

Participating Italian universities will publish their individual calls on 2 March 2026.

World University Service of Canada – Student Refugee Program (WUSC‑SRP) Kenya 2027–2028 Call for Applications

Application Window: 13 February – 13 March 2026 (5:00 PM EAT)-English Call

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

  • Hold original UNHCR Proof of Registration and a Government of Kenya Refugee ID Card
  • Be 18–25 years old and currently living in Kenya and have continuously resided in the country for at least 3 years
  • Have completed secondary school, with original certificates, result slips, and any other academic documents
  • Demonstrate English or French proficiency (oral and written)
  • Be single (unmarried) with no children
  • Be facing barriers to accessing or completing undergraduate education
  • Be self‑reliant, mature, and suitable for integration in Canada as an individual

This data aims at helping UNHCR and partners to identify and match refugee profiles with complementary pathways, including education opportunities, labour mobility programmes, and family reunification processes.
