Terre des Hommes, UNHCR’s partner, supports refugee communities through its community centers located in Cairo and Alexandria with a variety of services and facilities available to everyone:

• Digital Spaces: With computers labs available at the centers, digital spaces support online learning opportunities and emailing UNHCR.
• Training Rooms: Availing rooms to host trainings by refugee-led organizations to build and develop community capacities.
• Networking Meetings: The centers enable refugees and partner organizations to hold various meetings and host gatherings with refugees to exchange information.
• Information Sessions: PSTIC holds sessions to share information and the latest news about available services and combat rumors.
• Youth Empowerment Program: This program aims to support 200 youth in digital literacy, resume writing, and improving English language skills.
• Services for Persons with Disabilities: Support for persons with disabilities, as well as the elderly, women at risk, through case management.
• Legal Clinics: Holding legal sessions for legal advice and assistance, in cooperation with UNHCR and its legal partner.
• Community Events: Organizing recreational community events to support the psychosocial well-being of refugees.
• Inquiries Desk: located in all Multi-Purpose Community Centers provide community members with information about community events and services provided by UNHCR, partners and Refugee Led Organizations. Visitors to the MPCC can access information in various formats including service booklet, UNHCR’s online Help website, printing residency appointment, and updating the phone number registered with UNHCR (provided that principal applicant of the file is present).
