Legal Aid clinics by RCK at Compound 1, Field Post 1, Furaha Centre 2, Liz Ahua, RCK office Kakuma 4 and Kalobeyei village 1 field offices are currently ongoing. Refugees and asylum seekers can also reach out for legal advice and assistance through the toll-free line (0800 720 262) and office phone (0701 414 978). RCK protection monitors on the ground in Kakuma and Kalobeyei are assisting in case identification and referral.
Detention monitoring is ongoing in Kakuma and Kalobeyei police stations through visits by protection monitors on the ground. RCK continues to also monitor court processes at the Kakuma Law Courts and Kalobeyei mobile court.
