Malengo’s Kenya–Germany Vocational Training Program for Refugees

Malengo’s Kenya–Germany Vocational Training Program for Refugees prepares high school diploma holders in Kenya for vocational training programs in Germany in nursing, nurse assisting, and kindergarten teaching.

Malengo’s program includes one year of intensive German language training in Kenya, support in applying for vocational training positions, assistance with visa applications, and financial aid to cover language classes, living expenses, and travel costs. Vocational training in Germany, takes 1–3 years and combines part-time school education with part-time work in relevant training organizations. Students receive a salary that covers basic living expenses and, upon completion, earn a globally recognized diploma.
