Economic Mobility Pathways Pilot (EMPP)

The following is an immigration program of the Government of Canada. The program is for English-speakers so information will be shared in English. The UNHCR office in Trinidad and Tobago is not responsible for the selection of persons suitable for these alternative pathways.

The Economic Mobility Pathways Pilot (EMPP) combines refugee resettlement and economic immigration. It helps skilled refugees immigrate to Canada through existing economic programs and gives employers in Canada access to a new pool of qualified candidates to fill job openings.
