UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency’s, role in Trinidad and Tobago is to conduct and coordinate interventions and activities for the protection of asylum-seekers and refugees, and seek durable solutions for this population. To fulfil its mission, UNHCR in Trinidad and Tobago works closely with its partners who play an essential role in ensuring refugees remain in Trinidad and Tobago with dignity.
