Caribbean Centre for Human Rights (CCHR)

Founded in 2006, the Caribbean Centre for Human Rights (CCHR) monitors human rights issues, and advocates with government stakeholders for the human rights of refugees and migrants in Trinidad and Tobago and across the Caribbean. CCHR provides human rights education and awareness through public campaigns, policy recommendations and legal advocacy, training and strategic partnerships. 

In collaboration with UNHCR, has committed to provide free legal advice or support to asylum-seekers and refugees in Trinidad and Tobago.
