Municipal Services

All persons who wish to reach out to Municipal services, please do so through the following numbers. You will either receive support over the phone or be offered an appointment (on an exceptional basis). In any case please do not proceed directly to municipal premises.

The below-mentioned services are reachable Monday to Friday between 08.00-14.00 and are functioning with minimum personnel:

Hospitals in Northern Greece

All hospitals in Greece are currently functioning on an on-call basis (εφημερία) and as such all regular appointments booked prior to COVID-19 outbreak are cancelled. Persons facing urgent medical conditions should proceed to the emergency room of the nearest on-call hospital. Persons experiencing COVID-19 symptoms (fever, cough or shortness of breath) should call the National Organization for Public Health (EODY) helpline: 210-521-2054

IFRC Multi-functional Committee (MFC)

In line with the preventive measures for the Coronavirus pandemic, the MFC in Thessaloniki DOES NOT allow access of people inside their premises. All cash-related queries should be addressed through the relevant Helpline +30 210 330 0170, Monday to Friday between 09.00-15.00 (please see attached poster).

In case you need to reach out to UNHCR or IFRC Social Service please proceed to the MFC, Monday to Friday between 09.00-15.00 in order to book an appointment. Alternatively, you can contact MFC at +30 2310 270 914, +30 2310 270 496 or WhatsApp – Viber: 6971 736 250. The responsible person from IFRC or UNHCR will see you in person on the soonest available date.

Thessaloniki Arsis street service for homeless unaccompanied children

Any person below 18 years old who is not accompanied by mother or father and is currently homeless in the area of Thessaloniki, can reach out to Arsis street service for unaccompanied children at +30 6908070490, daily between 10.00 and 18.00, or via email[email protected]

Sexual and Gender Based Violence Support Services

As part of the measures to prevent and limit the spread of COVID-19 in Greece, Center Diotima has adapted its operation to the new context, enabling its staff to work remotely.

Thus, Diotima continues to provide remote psychosocial and legal aid services to refugee survivors of gender-based violence.
