The MyUNHCR portal is an online platform that allows refugees to easily manage and update their personal information with UNHCR. Through the portal, users can update their phone number and address, helping ensure their contact details are always accurate and up to date. It also enables refugees to complete important processes such as card validation and presence verification remotely, making access to services more convenient and reducing the need for in-person visits.

Protect yourself from fraud:
- Remember: all services from UNHCR and partners are free of charge!
- Only use the official My UNHCR portal (lb.myunhcr.id) to complete Presence Verification, Card Validation and to update your address or phone number.
- Be cautious about clicking on unknown links—look for links that end in unhcr.org, unhcr-lb.org, or lb.myunhcr.id
- If anyone asks you for money or other services in exchange for their support, report it to UNHCR at 04726111 or write via our Online Contact Form.
To maintain an active UNHCR file and continued access to services and assistance, all refugees known to UNHCR in Lebanon must confirm their presence in the country within one month of receiving an SMS from UNHCR with a link (lb.myunhcr.id) to MyUNHCR. If required, you can also validate your Red Card via this portal.

Why is UNHCR sharing a link to MyUNHCR to report my displacement?
- UNHCR is piloting an option for displaced refugees to report their displacement situation to UNHCR through the MyUNHCR portal.
- A small number of refugees are being contacted to test the platform
- Participation in the pilot is entirely voluntary.
- Once you access your MyUNHCR profile, you will be asked about your current situation, original area of residence in Lebanon, area of displacement, movement intentions, existence of specific needs, and other general details about your circumstances.
Can I use the MyUNHCR displacement pilot to request assistance?
- No. The pilot is only to help UNHCR understand refugee movements during the current situation.
- Entering your information is not linked to assistance.
