Fraudsters pretending to work with UNHCR are circulating false messages on social media claiming that UNHCR has started distributing winter assistance and guiding individuals on how to apply for it. This is false. UNHCR is not currently providing winter assistance, nor can one apply to receive any assistance from UNHCR.
