Right to dignity and respect
You have the right to be treated with dignity and respect by all humanitarian workers.
All humanitarian assistance is free of charge
No one has the right to demand money, favors, or sex for any assistance.
Right to report
You have the right to report any humanitarian worker if they harm you or make you uncomfortable. Reporting will not impact your access to assistance.
Right to safety
Your safety is our priority. If you make a complaint, UNHCR will keep it confidential, will take it seriously, and will follow up safely. You can also make a complaint anonymously.
How to Report humanitarian worker misconduct:
- Speak directly with any UNHCR or partner staff or community volunteer
- Call UNHCR Lebanon at 04726111
- Write to UNHCR Lebanon at help.unhcr.org/lebanon/contact-us
- Write directly to the UNHCR Inspector General’s Office at [email protected] or via their Online Complaint Form: unhcr.org/igo-complaints.html
