Welcome

UNHCR Lebanon - Help for refugees and asylum-seekers

Welcome to the HELP website run by UNHCR. Here, refugees, asylum seekers and stateless persons can find information and updates about UNHCR services in Lebanon.

⚠️ATTENTION! As of 1 September 2025, UNHCR Reception Centers in North and Bekaa will be permanently closed. The Reception Center in Tyre remains closed. If you are a refugee residing anywhere in Lebanon, all future in-person appointments scheduled with UNHCR will take place at the UNHCR Reception Center in Beirut. Remember: access to the Reception Center is only granted to those with pre-scheduled appointments. ❌Do not approach any reception center without an appointment—UNHCR will not be able to assist you. If you are based in Lebanon and have concerns about presenting yourself or your family at the Beirut Reception Center, express your concern to the UNHCR specialist who is scheduling your appointment or contact us for support: help.unhcr.org/lebanon/contact-us.
