UNHCR is inviting proposals from Refugee-Led Organizations (RLOs) to partner on implementing regular sports activities under the Sport for Protection (S4P) Project. This initiative aims to enhance refugees’ psychosocial wellbeing, with the project set to run until September 2027. For the first year, the collaboration will focus on RLOs in Jakarta and its surrounding areas, with plans for expansion to other major cities in Indonesia starting in 2026.
Partnership Benefits
Selected RLOs will:
- Receive funding of up to IDR 120,000,000/year/organisation to implement regular sports activities.
- Gain access to training in the Sport for Protection Curriculum.
- Refer students to participate in other project components, including skills training and mental health support programs.
Eligibility Requirements
To apply, your RLO must:
- Be an established RLO operating in Jakarta or surrounding areas.
- Have the capacity and willingness to run sport programs in its Learning Center.
- Commit to submitting regular financial and activity reports.
- Not have received prior funding for the same programs.
- Commit to forming a consultative youth group to guide on the project preparation and implementation.
