Organizations for asylum-seekers who wish to or have to return to their country of origin:
The International Organization for Migration (IOM)
If you are thinking of leaving the Netherlands to return to your country of origin, IOM may be able to help you. IOM’s voluntary return assistance is available to all migrants as well as asylum-seekers and refugees, regardless of their legal status in the Netherlands.
You can talk to IOM about voluntary return without any obligation. Everything you discuss will be kept confidential. IOM will inform you of the assistance available before, during and after your departure. You can discuss any concerns you may have relating to your return in a personal conversation with one of their counsellors. To answer more specific questions, they can also contact the IOM office in your country of origin. If needed, IOM will refer you to other organizations providing social services or advice on various options. If you decide that voluntary return is the right choice for you, IOM can help you with all the preparations for your departure.
If you wish to return to your country of origin you can contact IOM at 088 746 4466 and find more information on their website.
