We have received several reports through our different communication channels about delays in the payments of the cash assistance program for refugees provided by UNHCR in partnership with CRS, Caritas Moldova and Diaconia.  

UNHCR acknowledges that some families experienced delays in receiving their payments due to some technical issues.  

We understand the impact of the situation on you, and we apologise for the inconvenience, we are working on resolving this issue as soon as possible.

During the public holidays, the enrolment centres and the Cash helpline (0 800 10823) will be closed on 1 and 9 May 2023.

During the Easter holidays, the enrolment centres and the Cash helpline (0 800 10823) will be closed on 17 and 24 April 2023.

There will be a system upgrade during the period of 3-18 April. Some services related to UNHCR cash program, may be disrupted during this period and will be fully available after 18 April. We thank you for your patience and apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Due to a systems upgrade, Căușeni, Orhei and Ungheni Enrolment Centres will be available only for legal assistance and counseling from April 3 to 5. While the Enrolment Centres in Donduseni, Bălți, Cahul will be available only for legal assistance and counseling from April 10 to 12.

Please, be informed that as of the 3rd February, Ukrainians crossing the border between Romania and Hungary without a valid biometric passport or Schengen visa, may face challenges entering Hungary.

The Chisinau Enrolment Centre located at Moldexpo is moving to a new place in the city: 32 Gheorghe Caşu Street (Sociology and Social Work Faculty building, Moldova State University, block 5,  https://goo.gl/maps/7f7sQmhedgMQs8Np6).  

Moldexpo Enrolment Centre will be open for pre-enrolment, enrolment, and verification activities with a limited capacity from the 13 to the 17 of February.

For now, the NEW enrolment centre will be open only for enrolment and verification appointments. Please do not approach if you don’t have an appointment. You will receive an SMS with your appointment details and the new address.

The Moldexpo Enrolment Centre will close its doors on February 20.

The Moldexpo Enrolment Centre will be closed on February 2 and 3.

On Monday December 26th, due to Christmas holidays, the Enrolment Centres and the Cash helpline (0 800 10823) will be closed. We will resume operations on Tuesday, December 27th.
