UNHCR has been forced to suspend its monthly subsistence allowance (MSA) program for many previous beneficiaries due to budget limitations impacting UNHCR globally. We understand that this will create a very difficult situation for the most vulnerable refugees living independently in Indonesia who have relied on the monthly subsistence allowance. We continue to explore ways to help refugees meet their basic needs and encourage you to seek support from relatives, friends, the local community, and other organizations. UNHCR hopes to be able to include the most vulnerable refugees in Indonesia into the MSA program in the future.
