How to apply:
I. Submit an electronic application on protectietemporara.gov.md
Application period: 1 February – 30 April 2026
Steps to follow:
- Open the website protectietemporara.gov.md
- Request the extension of temporary protection
- Fill in the online form
- For children who have turned 14, their legal representatives will be notified about biometric data collection:
– Save the appointment information at the General Inspectorate for Migration (IGM)
– Attend the IGM office on the scheduled day, accompanying the child and bringing all original identity documents
Important!
- The service is free of charge
- During the application period and while the application is being reviewed, all TP beneficiaries maintain their status
- The validity of your TP document can be checked by scanning the QR code on the document
- If you are not eligible for TP extension, you will be informed of the decision
- Missing the application deadline (1 February – 30 April 2026) will result in automatic termination of your TP status
