UNFPA is the United Nations sexual and reproductive health agency and, among other areas, supports reproductive health care for women and youth, access to modern contraceptives, and the provision of dignity kits. It is also a lead UN agency in the Protection sub-cluster on gender-based violence (GBV) in emergencies.
In Bosnia and Herzegovina, UNFPA, in collaboration with the health sector and respective partners, is working to address a range of migrant and asylum-seeker needs. UNFPA aims to provide a range of services including Sexual and Reproductive Health Care, provision of individual and group psychosocial support for GBV survivors, coordination of GBV prevention and response in emergency, amongst others.
