Access to Health Services
As of 1 January 2026, new regulations apply to the payment modalities for health services for Syrians under Temporary Protection. Depending on your situation, health services may be subject to contribution fees or full payment.
You can check your health provision status through your e-Devlet account under:
“SPAS Müstehaklık Sorgulama (Sağlık Provizyon Aktivasyon Sistemi)”
If your provision is closed and:
- You or a family member has a medical condition requiring continuous treatment or medication, or
- You cannot afford the cost of medical treatment,
You may request an assessment by the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management (PDMM).
- Book an appointment at https://randevu.goc.gov.tr
- Select “Geçici Koruma – Sağlık Hizmeti Bilgilendirme”
- Visit PDMM on the appointment date and time
- Answer the questions and provide any available medical reports or documents related to health or disability condition
If a negative outcome is received, you must wait one month before booking a new appointment, as the system does not allow new applications during this period.
Yes. If your provision is closed or remains closed, you can access health services by paying for medical examinations, treatments, medications, and medical devices.
If your provision remains active, you are still required to pay a contribution fee, same as Turkish citizens.
The amount of contribution fee will vary depending on:
- The type of treatment
- The level of health service provider (primary, secondary, tertiary, or private)
Yes. You may apply to the Social Solidarity and Assistance Foundation (SYDV) in your province to request reimbursement of the contribution fee you paid
