Health services in Malaysia
Health care services are available in Malaysia. However, refugees and asylum-seekers will need to pay for treatment. If you are registered with UNHCR, you can receive 50% discount on foreigner fees at government hospitals and clinics.
Where should I go?
- If you feel unwell (fever, cough, pain) → Go to a clinic (primary care)
- If you are pregnant → Go to a clinic for check-ups
- If you are seriously ill or injured → Go to the nearest hospital (Emergency Department)
