Registration and documentation
To apply for registration, you will first need to submit a request for registration using the self-service portal My Services. This will also apply to applications submitted on the Refugee Malaysia website that are still pending registration.
If you are already registered with UNHCR in Malaysia and wish to update your phone number, please fill in the form “Updating Phone Number”, or if you wish to seek the inclusion of one family member in your case, please fill in the form “Requesting Family Inclusion”. Go to the form.
If you applied for new registration or requested to add your family members before 1st January 2023, and have updated a request via My Services but have not yet received an appointment, you may contact the Registration hotline during the hours below:

Refugee Status Determination (RSD)
To make an appeal of your rejected RSD application, or to request a file reopening, you may write to UNHCR via [email protected]
Please include in the email :
- The words “Appeal Request” or “Reopening Request” in the subject line
- Your name
- Your UNHCR case number
- Your phone number
