There is help and support for victims of labor exploitation, domestic servitude and human trafficking. You can report these crimes to the police or to specialized NGOs, to receive information on what support is available.

You or someone you know might be a victim of labor exploitation, domestic servitude and trafficking, if

• You or they are brought to Hungary by force or pretense, or moved around Hungary, and forced to work
• You or they are coerced or forced to have sex
• You or they are prevented from contacting your family and friends
• You or their employer keeps back the payment
• You or they are prevented from moving around when wanting to
• You or they are coerced to work against your or their will
• Your or their passport or documents have been taken from you or them
• There are threats to harm you, your family, them or their family
• You or they are forced to live in unsuitable, degrading places
• Your or their employer is not providing the documents required for employing workers
• Someone forces you or them to donate an organ.

Victims of trafficking have the right to assistance, including:

• appropriate and secure accommodation,
• psychological and material assistance,
• access to medical treatment and relevant information,
• access to residence permit.

Search for the name of your place of residence and add “general practitioner” or “hospital”.	With health issues turn to the local general practitioner or nearest health care provider. Interpreter service is available via the 1812 phone number between 8.00 – 16.30 from Monday to Friday. Interpreters will assist your doctor with translation from Ukr/Rus to Hun.
