The rules for subsidised accommodation will change from 21 August 2024

Due to a newly introduced legislation by the Hungarian Government, you will be only eligible for subsidised accommodation if you are coming from or having a residence in a “war-affected area”. If your place of origin or residence is not included within these areas, you will no longer be eligible for subsidized accommodation starting from 21 August 2024.
