Important Announcement on Registration and Assistance of Refugees and Asylum Seekers from Sudan

In order to receive assistance, it is crucial that you register with the Government of South Sudan.

As per the recent decision made by the Government of South Sudan, registration is currently taking place in the following three locations: Maban, Jamjang, and Aweil.

Please note that new arrivals from Sudan will no longer be registered at the Gorom settlement and Juba Reception Center. Instead, refugees who require assistance will have access to services at designated refugee camps and settlement areas in Maban, Jamjang, and Aweil.

We urge all individuals seeking assistance to follow the registration process at the designated sites in Maban, Jamjang, or Aweil. By doing so, you ensure that your needs are properly addressed and that you receive the necessary support.

ALL SERVICES PROVIDED BY UNHCR AND ITS PARTNERS ARE FREE OF CHARGE.
