The Agency for Integration, Migration and Asylum (AIMA) offers a Telephone Translation Service.
This service is free of charge when you need to communicate with service providers. The service provides immediate and/or scheduled translations in more than 60 languages/dialects.

You will hear a recorded messages before you can proceed with requesting the service. Use the numeric keyboard on your telephone to respond:
- A message informing about the data protection policy. Press “1” if you agree to proceed.
- A message that lets you switch the language to English. Press “1” for English, or take no action to continue in Portuguese.
The service works during the following hours:
- Monday to Friday, between 08h00 and 20h00
