If you are eligible and reside in Poland, you may request free access to thousands of online learning opportunities through the Coursera-UNHCR programme. You need a personal email address and an internet connection to register.
Coursera offers free online courses for refugees, asylum seekers and stateless persons, provided by leading universities and educational institutions worldwide.
Coursera is an online learning platform offering courses from universities and educational institutions around the world. Courses cover many areas, including business, data analysis, marketing, political science, arts and other subjects. Eligible learners can receive certificates for completed learning programmes.
Courses on Coursera are normally paid. Through the UNHCR–Coursera partnership, eligible forcibly displaced and stateless people can receive free access through the programme.
The programme provides online courses and specialisations of different lengths, with flexible study options and programmes available in multiple languages.
If you are eligible and residing in Poland, use the Poland-specific registration form. After registration, follow the instructions sent by UNHCR to activate or join your Coursera account.
You can use a computer, smartphone or tablet to register and study. A mobile app may make learning more convenient on a smartphone. Internet access is needed to register, access course content and download courses. Where offline access is supported, downloaded course material can be studied without an active connection.
