What does Fondation Orient Occident (FOO) do?

FOO is a UNHCR partner that provides services to People with Specific Needs and facilitates access to education for refugee children. Services for People with Specific Needs include listening sessions, psychological counselling, recreative and cultural activities, kindergarten, and language courses. For education matters, FOO provides information about the public school system in Morocco and manages cash grants and tutoring classes for pupils. All services provided by FOO are free of charge.

What does Association Marocaine de la Planification Familiale (AMPF) do?

AMPF (Association Marocaine pour la Planification Familiale) is a UNHCR partner in Morocco for health matters. It provides information about the Moroccan public health system and facilitates refugees’ access to health care. AMPF is in charge of covering the cost of essential medications and health services provided at public health centers. Consultations are free at primary healthcare. For everything else, there is a cost that is covered by AMPF. At AMPF centers, family planning services and sexual and reproductive health counselling are also available. Finally, AMPF carries sensitization and advocacy activities in favor of refugees’ access to health care in Morocco. AMPF centers are open 8:30 to 16: 30 from Monday to Friday. All services provided by AMPF are free of charge.

What does Association Marocaine pour la Promotion de la Petite Enterprise (AMAPPE) do?

AMAPPE (Association Marocaine pour la Promotion de la Petite Enterprise) is UNHCR Partner that supports refugees’ socioeconomic integration in Morocco. In addition to facilitating access to vocational training and to the job market, AMAPPE promotes the creation and strengthening of income-generating activities through microprojects. It assesses applicants’ skills, provides information about available opportunities and follows up with applicants throughout the socioeconomic integration process (be it through vocational training, internship or microproject). All services provided by AMAPPE are free of charge.

What does Organisation Marocaine des Droits de l’Homme (OMDH) do?

OMDH (Organisation Marocaine des Droits Humains) provides information about the asylum procedure in Morocco and refers individuals in need of international protection to UNHCR. It also supports asylum seekers and refugees with legal assistance and the renewal of UNHCR documents. OMDH has offices in Rabat, Oujda, Nador and Tangier and staff in Marrakech and Casablanca. In Oujda, there is a Center for Legal Assistance of Asylum Seekers and Refugees (CLA). All services provided by OMDH and CLA are confidential and free of charge.
