Access to education beyond secondary studies, such as university and technical schools, is available to refugees depending on their situation.
- Recognised refugees who have obtained their baccalaureate in Morocco have access to tertiary education in the same way as Moroccans
- Refugee students who came to Morocco as part of a bilateral agreement between the country of origin and Morocco, can integrate into the Moroccan tertiary system through the Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation (AMCI).
- Refugees who are NOT holders of a Moroccan baccalaureate and who have not entered into the framework of AMCI, will need to get in touch with UNHCR partner Fondation Orient Occident education officer to see further options.
