Contact UNHCR Iran

All forcibly displaced and stateless persons who are residing in the Islamic Republic of Iran may seek information and support from UNHCR.

For more information on the support available, please explore this Help site, including the page on  What are the main services for Forcibly displaced and stateless people in Iran?

If you did not find the answers you were looking for on our help page, you may contact us through:

  1. Calling UNHCR helpline numbers in your area.
  2. Visit the nearest UNHCR office to raise your inquiry.
  3. Submit your request through a Complaint Box at a UNHCR Reception Center (not for urgent and sensitive issues).
  4. Write to us by completing the below form.

UNHCR keeps a record of all claims reported to us. You do not need to report a question or concern more than once. Any information you share with us will be treated confidentially.

By submitting this form, you consent to UNHCR processing its contents in order to respond to your question or concern. If necessary, UNHCR may share the content of your message with trusted partners so they can support you.

Please be informed that all UNHCR services are free of charge and should anyone ask you for money, please report it to us.

Please be aware that UNHCR Helpline numbers remain the primary channel of communication with Forcibly Displaced and Stateless people. To write to us only for urgent matters, please complete this form.  https://enketo.unhcr.org/x/Nt1mnkab

Please note:

When contacting UNHCR helpline numbers, in order to receive better services and to save time, get your identity document (Unified smart card, Amayesh or Hoviat card, passport, Tazkira, or Headcount slip) ready while waiting for the helpline operator to answer your call. It is also suggested that someone who can read the document be present during the call.
