UNHCR conducts registration for people seeking asylum and determination of whether they are refugees. UNHCR partners help us do this registration. You can find information on asylum in Pakistan here. Please note that there is currently a considerable waiting time for the interview appointments to be made.  If you have an urgent protection issue in the interim, please call the Protection Helpline in your area.

RESETTLEMENT IS NOT A RIGHT, and most refugees will not be considered for resettlement.

UNHCR is aware that many refugees face a very difficult situation in Pakistan and desire to be resettled to another country. However, due to the extremely limited number of resettlement places available, only a small number of individuals may be considered for resettlement.

UNHCR will identify cases for consideration based on the available information pertaining to the case and in line with the established criteria.  Self-referrals for resettlement will not be considered. Please do not approach UNHCR or partner agencies seeking resettlement consideration. UNHCR will contact you if you might qualify.

Some countries have established specific programs for Afghan nationals who have worked with or were affiliated with countries to apply for permission to travel to those countries. Please note that these programs are established by these countries, and UNHCR does not refer individuals to these programs, nor is it able to support, process or submit applications on behalf of individuals. ممکن نور برنامې شتون ولري چې اوس یا ژر شتون لري. يو اين ايچ سۍ ار به هڅه وکړي دا لیست تازه وساتي ځکه چې موږ د دولت لخوا تمویل شوي برنامو څخه خبر شو. د دوی په اړه توضیحات د ځانګړي دولت لخوا تنظیم شوي ویب پاڼو کې ترلاسه کیدای شی. مهرباني وکړئ د وروستيو معلوماتو او د دې دولتي ویب پاڼي  دلینکونو په اړه زموږ د افغانستان پاڼه  وګورئ.

امریکا پدې وروستیو کې د هغو افغان اتباعو لپاره فرصتونه اعلان کړل چې د امریکا حکومت ، اردو ، نادولتي مؤسسو ، یا رسنیو سره کار کوي یا ورسره تړاو لري. مهرباني وکړئ د جزیاتو لپاره د امریکا د بهرنیو چارو وزارت څخه لاندې سایټونو څخه لیدنه وکړئ :

د کاناډا برنامه د هغو افغان اتباعو لپاره شتون لري چې “دندې یې د کاناډا حکومت سره د پام وړ او/یا تلپاتې اړیکې درلودې” ، پشمول د کاناډا اردو او ځایی کارمندانو لپاره ژباړونکي چې د کاناډا سفارت کې کار کوي یا کار کوي. مهرباني وکړئ د جزیاتو لپاره لاندې سایټ څخه لیدنه وکړئ :
