Budapest Helps! Information and Community Center is a safe and cosy place where women, men, boys and girls can meet to receive important information from qualified counsellors, participate in programs and courses, relax and communicate.

At the Center, you can access information and participate in cultural and educational programs that will help you to adapt more easily in a new country and feel comfortable.

Monday – Saturday – 9 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Sunday – 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.

What information can you get at the Center?

  • Border crossing issues;
  • Temporary protection status, legal issues;
  • Accommodation and employment;
  • healthcare, education, transportation, etc.

What activities does the Center offer?

  • Hungarian and English language courses for children and adults;
  • psychological sessions for children, teenagers and adults;
  • Art master classes (painting, embroidery, handmade);
  • yoga, sound bath
  • music and special events.

How to participate in the programs? 

Some programs last several months, so registration for them is updated several times a year. However, most of the programs can be joined on a weekly basis. Please join the UNHCR Telegram channel to get information with the announcements of current programs!
