Aid for Ukraine

Aid for Ukraine is an organization which is actively engaged in supporting Ukrainian refugees in Bulgaria through a range of initiatives across several sectors. In the area of Livelihoods and Economic Inclusion, the organization provides Bulgarian language courses, seminars on local systems and cultural norms, business workshops, and skill development training to enhance employability and integration. Under the Protection sector, they offer psychological support, resilience-building workshops, awareness campaigns on human trafficking, and training on Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA). Their Child Protection efforts include counseling, therapy, group support, and tailored educational support for children with special needs. In the Education sector, they deliver Bulgarian and English language courses, early childhood education programs for children aged 1,5 to 5 years, and preschool readiness initiatives. These activities are designed to foster integration, resilience, and long-term well-being for refugee communities.
