National Office for the Attention of Refugees (ONPAR)

ONPAR is a state office of the Ministry of Government, where the asylum applications must be submitted. They are responsible for receiving, admitting and processing all applications for refugee status determination procedure, as well as other administrative procedures related to the process, such as the renewal of identity documents. How to get there: By Bus: At the Panama City Bus Terminal, board the Metro Bus on the Marañon-Av Roosvelt-T Balboa-Av Mártires route. Get off at the stop of the old Balboa Theater, on Avenida Arnulfo Arias Madrid.
