- Documents: Bring the original and 2 copies of each document.
- Passport or Identity and Travel Document (DIV): Bring the original and 2 copies of every page, including the cover pages.
- Payment: The payment must be made in Mexican pesos and only at banks.
- Payment validity: If you made the payment but did not complete the procedure, your payment is valid for 5 years. If the fee increases, you must pay the difference.
- Do not pay intermediaries: You do not need to pay anyone to complete your process. UNHCR provides guidance free of charge or can connect you with partners who offer assistance at no cost.
