Information on Afghanistan

The federal admission programme Afghanistan will be implemented gradually from 17 October 2022. As UNHCR is not involved in the implementation of the programme, applications and requests to UNHCR cannot be processed or forwarded. Detailed information on all aspects of the federal admission programme can be found on the programme website provided by the federal government.

IMPORTANT NOTE: UNHCR in Germany is not involved in visa procedures or evacuations from Afghanistan, and can only pass on information that we receive. This information is summarized below.
