UNHCR received numerous requests for support regarding family reunification visa applications submitted before December 31, 2024, related to Interministerial Ordinance MJSP/MRE No. 38/2023.
UNHCR was informed by the Brazilian government that currently, most of the cases which were received in 2024 and still unresolved relate to difficulties in contacting the person responsible for the applications.
In order to support the completion of the processing of these cases, UNHCR Brazil requests that those who have not yet received a response to their family reunification visa applications, based on Ordinance No. 38/2023, complete the form below.
