📚 (DEADLINE: 18/8/2025) Special Selection Process of the Federal University of Amazonas for the Admission of Refugees, Asylum Seekers, Stateless Persons, Humanitarian Visa Holders and Immigrants in Vulnerable Situations

    The Federal University of Amazonas (UFAM) has opened 218 openings for the Special Selection Process (PSERef 2026), aimed at refugees, asylum seekers, stateless persons, humanitarian visa holders, and immigrants in vulnerable situations. There are 146 openings in Manaus and 72 distributed among the institutes of Benjamin Constant, Coari, Itacoatiara, Humaitá, and Parintins.

    Free registration is open from August 5th to 18th, with exams on September 14th.

    Created in 2024 and expanded in July 2025, the process reinforces UFAM’s commitment to human rights and social inclusion. The selection process will be conducted in Portuguese and includes an objective test of both eliminatory and classificatory nature. Successful applicants will have access to the Instrumental Portuguese Program, essential for their academic continuation.
