Where to seek help

If you are staying in Belarus irregularly (including if your entry visa has expired), you are advised to seek information about the legal options available to you, such as voluntary return to your country or seeking asylum in Belarus if you fear of return to your country of origin.

If you have a close family member (such as a spouse or minor children) in another country, you may also be eligible to apply for family reunification in this country.

In Belarus, there are organizations that can provide you with free of charge legal counselling on asylum, help you with humanitarian assistance (such as food or clothing), or find your missing family members, as well as with the information on assisted voluntary return. Please refer to the contacts below for more information.
