Immigration Contact Center (1345)
If you have questions about your immigration status or need help communicating with Korean authorities, you can call the Immigration Contact Center at 1345. It is a multilingual helpline provided by the government to help foreigners living in Korea.
- Immigration Information: You can ask questions about your visa, alien registration, and other immigration procedures.
- Interpretation Services: If you are visiting a government office, a public institution, or using the Village Lawyer service, you can call 1345 for a 3-way interpretation service.
Counseling is available in 20 languages: Korean, Chinese, English, Vietnamese, Thai, Japanese, Mongolian, Indonesian, French, Bengali, Urdu, Russian, Nepali, Khmer, Burmese, German, Spanish, Tagalog, Arabic, and Sinhalese.
- Weekdays: 09:00 to 22:00
- Please note: After 18:00, the service is only available in Korean, English, and Chinese.
- From Korea: Dial 1345 (no area code needed).
- From overseas: Dial +82-2-1345.
- To use your preferred language: Dial 1345, wait for the voice prompt, press the number for your language, and then press the star (*) key.
