Active measures in North Macedonia:

  • Masks are not mandatory in closed spaces, with the exception of pharmacies, hospitals, public transportation and retirement homes. Anyone may still choose to wear a mask.
  • There are no active curfews.

Vaccination against COVID-19 is underway in North Macedonia and it is voluntary. For persons with granted international protection, expression of interest for vaccination is done through the government dedicated portal. For asylum-seekers, vaccination may be done by contacting the staff or doctor at the Reception Centre for Asylum-Seekers in Vizbegovo.
