About UNHCR and the Irish Refugee Advisory Board
UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, is a global organization dedicated to saving lives, protecting rights and building a better future for refugees, forcibly displaced communities and stateless people.
The Irish Refugee Advisory Board (IRAB) was formed by UNHCR in 2022. A refugee led group, the Board’s aim is to ensure that the voices of refugees are heard in policy decisions that affect them. In doing so, it will discuss issues that affect their communities and propose solutions to them.
About the survey
UNHCR and IRAB are conducting a survey to better understand how to reach refugee communities all across Ireland. This will help ensure that they receive the kind of information they are interested in and improve the design of future consultations. The results will be analysed and shared publicly.
Please take a few moments to complete this survey. The questions cover different communication channels and expectations. All questions are optional and you can stop doing the survey at any time.
If you have a query about the survey or a request for UNHCR to facilitate someone with additional needs to complete the survey, please contact: [email protected]
Thank you for helping us to carry out this work.
As well as completing the survey yourself, please consider promoting it further by sharing and helping those you know to fill it in. Working together we can link individuals and communities to our work and be stronger together.
Some members of your family, community, or workplace may need help filling out this survey for many reasons. If they need help, offer to assist as a facilitator and then ask for instructions on how to assist. You can find some general guidelines to help, and some key terms in this document:
