ANNOUNCEMENT
The Ministry of the Interior of Montenegro informs temporary protection holders from Ukraine that the Government of Montenegro adopted a decision on the extension of the temporary protection regime until 11 March 2024.
To extend temporary protection certificate, valid until 11 March 2023, you must go PERSONALLY to the branch office of the Ministry of Interior in your place of residence and present your temporary protection certificate. The only exception will be Budva whose residents will be replacing their temporary protection certificates in the mobile mobile unit in Petrovac, 8. street (in front of the police station).
Replacement of temporary protection certificates will be organized each working day, between 8.00 and 15.00 hours.
The procedure is free of charge.
The extension procedure will last until 10 March 2023. If you miss this deadline, you will be requested to submit a new application for temporary protection.
Persons from Ukraine who did not apply for temporary protection by now will continue with the application procedure, as it was the case by now.
