Pass permits to move within Ethiopia
If you want to move within Ethiopia, you need to obtain a pass permit.
You can apply for a pass permit by making an appointment online through our Digital Request and Complaint System (DRCS)
Your pass permit should be issued within approximately 15 days, depending on the urgency, needs, RRS staffing capacity, and volume of requests for documentation addressed to RRS.
A pass permit is valid for up to 3 months. During this time, you can use the document multiple times.
You can request RRS to renew your pass permit. You will need to provide adequate justification for your request.
