All refugee and asylum-seeker documents are provided free of charge by UNHCR and RRS upon registration as an asylum-seeker or refugee.
While RRS issues most documents, UNHCR also provides Asylum Certificates.
How long does it take to get a document issued or replaced?
Documents requested through the DRCS (Digital Request and Complaint System) can take up to 15 working days from the date of request to be issued.
The time required might be less depending on the urgency, needs and staff capacity/workload.
