How long does it take to obtain a pass permit, if I want to move within Ethiopia?
Your pass permit should be issued within approximately 15 days, depending on the urgency, needs, RRS staffing capacity, and volume of requests for documentation addressed to RRS.
Can I renew my pass permit before I return to the camp/urban location?
A pass permit is valid for up to 3 months. During this time, you can use the document multiple times.
You can request RRS to renew your pass permit. You will need to provide adequate justification for your request.
