UNHCR can provide information and orientation regarding services, assistance, and the application process to request asylum.
Humanitarian assistance is one of the programs implemented by UNHCR through its partners. This assistance is not a right for individuals served by UNHCR and its partners; rather, it is provided based on the fulfilment of pre-established eligibility criteria and the availability of resources. Currently, UNHCR and its partners are not implementing humanitarian assistance programs in the Dominican Republic.
