HIAS
HIAS Aruba is a UNHCR implementing partner for humanitarian assistance in Aruba. The humanitarian assistance program supports the most vulnerable refugees, asylum seekers, and migrants by providing referrals to counseling; medical support, assistance in school registration, and cash-based initiatives. The approval of assistance is subject to both socio-economic and risk evaluation, which are conducted at the HIAS Aruba office.

DIMAS
Department of Integration and Management and Admission of Foreigners (DIMAS for its Acronym in Papiamento) is the governmental department that is in charge of receiving asylum application. This is who you should turn to in order to apply for asylum. DIMAS is also the department that is responsible for reviewing and making decisions regarding your asylum application.

IOM (International Organization for Migration)
The IOM works to help ensure the orderly and humane management of migration, promote international cooperation on migration issues, assist in finding practical solutions to migration challenges, and provide humanitarian assistance to migrants in need, including refugees and internally displaced persons.

FCVR (Fundacion Contra Violencia Relacional)
FCVR is an expertise and treatment center in Aruba that focuses on domestic violence, specifically intimate and former intimate partner violence. The foundation serves the community by offering outpatient services, residential services (crisis and transit shelter), aftercare services, an expertise center, and advocacy work. The residential services are specifically geared towards women and their children who are victims and survivors of domestic violence.

They conduct workshops covering important topics such as contraceptive options, healthy relationships, and sexually transmitted infections, while advocating for policies that uphold sexual and reproductive rights.

USCIS
