Communities, organizations, and individuals in third countries often want to support and get involved in refugee solutions. Sponsorship pathways allow communities to mobilize themselves and assist refugees to begin a new life in their country. Sponsoring individuals or groups may assist to bring individual refugees or refugee families to their countries by supporting their travel, reception, initial services and integration into the local community. Sponsorship pathways often depend on the financial, emotional, and social capacity of the sponsors.
UNHCR Pakistan cannot nominate you to be sponsored and cannot influence or interfere with the sponsorship process in any way. The links below are for your information only. UNHCR will not be able to follow-up on, respond or support Private or Community Sponsorship requests.
Some available sponsorship pathways that refugees in Pakistan might access include the Canadian Sponsorship Programme, the United States Welcome Corps Sponsorship Programme, and the Australian Special Humanitarian Sponsorship Programme.
