2. What type of assistance does UNHCR provide?
UNHCR offers legal assistance, counseling, and referrals to other service providers for additional types of support.
3. Can we renew our UNHCR certificate?
Since 2018, UNHCR no longer renews certificates at the request of the Government of Aruba. The Government of Aruba has taken full responsibility for managing the asylum process.
4. Our UNHCR certificate has expired or is about to expire. What will happen to us?
UNHCR documents will not be renewed. You must apply for asylum with DIMAS. DIMAS is the entity responsible for asylum applications and registration.
5. I live in another country and need help. Can you help me?
