The Multi-Country Office (MCO) of UNHCR in Panama supports refugees and asylum-seekers across 22 States and territories in the Caribbean, including Aruba. In close collaboration with governments, UN agencies, non-governmental organizations, civil society, and host communities to ensure protection and assistance for those forced to flee.
Promoting social inclusion and strengthening local capacities in each territory. In doing so, UNHCR helps displaced people find safety, rebuild their lives, and access sustainable solutions that allow them to fully integrate into the communities that welcome them.
